We had the pleasure to be invited by the Royal Commission for Riyadh City to contribute ideas to ensure the integration of 4 large scale projects: 1. King Salman Park – the largest park in the world, 2. The Sports and Arts Boulevard, 3. Green Riyadh, and 4. Riyadh Arts. Riyadh launched these projects with the potential to transform people’s lifestyles and cultural enrichment in support of the Kingdom’s 2030 Vision. Our Expert Report highlighted the key potentials of these projects and major challenges facing their implementation and viability. We presented recommendations for their spatial and social/cultural integration into the city’s neighbourhoods and regulations, and contribution to new city identity.
