As an Expert of the Worldwide Network of Port Cities AIVP
Roudaina Alkhani had the pleasure to contribute input to the EU-Programme Docks the Future at its kick-off phase as part of the Worldwide Network of Port Cities AIVP Experts (www.aivp.com). Dr Alkhani contributed ideas on supporting sustainable European coastal areas, emphasising sustainable port and city strategies and the need port cities collaborate championing the resilience of European coastal areas.
This comprehensive project aimed to define the Port of the Future 2030 to face challenges related to the port-city interface and sustainability, simplifying and digitalising processes, and working towards emission reduction, energy transition, cross-border collaborations around interests and much more.
